In this study, as the characteristics of landscape management by area management organization (AMO) in the core area of large cities, we analyzed the relationship of rules for landscape formation in each case, and clarified the activity scheme of each landscape management. As a result, for buildings, it was found that it is possible to inherit the characteristic townscape through consultation using AMO's rules, etc., in addition to the regulations of the district plan. For public spaces, it is important to apply AMO's rules. In addition, it was clarified that further utilization can be expected through the division of roles between AMO and landowners and the accumulation of utilization results. As for the area management advertising project, there are many common points in each case, and it was found that AMO can contribute to the formation of the landscape by appropriately establishing and operating rules.
