IRUD Beyond, exploitation of model organisms for functional assessment of candidate variants for rare and undiagnosed diseases

企画・趣旨のねらい 小崎健次郎（Kenjiro Kosaki） 慶應義塾大学医学部臨床遺伝学センター 　IRUDが開始されて3年間が経過し，3,000を超える患者およびその家族の解析が進められており，医療システムかつ研究システムとして定着しつつある．多くの患者は小児であり，神経学的症状を合併している患者が過半を占めていることから小児神経学分野へ貢献するところが大きい．本シンポジウムでは，5名の先生方に登壇いただき，成果と課題について現場からのメッセージを届ける． 　希少疾患の診断を契機とする病態解析について加藤先生に，IRUDプロジェクトにおける診療拠点としての立ち場から吉田先生に，形態学的な表現型の重要性について岡本先生に，ゲノムだけでは解決しないバリアントに対する機能解析のアプローチ“IRUD Beyond”について高野先生に，新規疾患を同定され，その治療法を開発中の武内先生にそれぞれ，成果と課題についてオーバービューをいただく．
