免疫性神経疾患の治療のメインストリームは副腎皮質ステロイドを中心とした免疫療法であるが、近年は免疫抑制剤に加えて様々な生物学的製剤が実用化され、治療のオプションは広がりつつある。従って個々の薬剤の使い方に加えて、それらを状況に応じて使い分けられる術についても知る必要がある。小児の免疫性神経疾患に対する治療に限って言えばエビデンスは必ずしも十分蓄積されているとは言えないが、エキスパートによるコンセンサスや系統的なレビューにより作成された診療ガイドラインがいくつか存在する。本シンポジウムでは日常診療で遭遇することの多い疾患を取り上げ、我が国における診療ガイドラインや国際コンセンサスについて紹介する予定である。
