AMEDにおける患者・市民参画（PPI）：医療研究開発の「社会共創」に向けて

共生社会の実現を推進するための認知症基本法には、第二十条のなかで、「共生社会の実現に資する研究等の基盤を構築するため」の「当該研究等への認知症の人及び家族等の参加の促進」がのべられている。より良い研究のために、研究への患者・市民参画（Patient and Public Involvement：PPI）は、研究者にとっても当事者にとっても重要、有用であり、これからの認知症研究においては、その推進は必須ともいえる。本シンポジウムでは、各ステークホルダーの視点から、認知症研究とPPIについての発表を聞き、今後に向けた検討を行う。
