Electrochromism (EC) is defined as reversible color change induced by electrochemical reaction. We have reported Ag deposition-based EC device which shows reversible changes of optical state from clear transparent to mirror, black, and chromic colors of cyan, magenta, and yellow. Optical properties of the electrodeposited metal are greatly affected by size and shape of the deposited metal particle. In this research, we have investigated effect of the amount of silver ions supplied to the electrode for improving reflectance of mirror state of Ag deposition-based electrochromic device by changing silver ion concentration and solution flow.
