集中治療領域における緩和ケア　-当院ICUでの事例を通して終末期を考える-

患者の救命が最大の目的である救急医療において，2007年の救急医療における終末期医療に関する提言より終末期の定義がされ、救急領域における終末期について考えられるようになった。さらに、2014年の救急・集中治療における終末期医療に関するガイドライン～3学会からの提言～では，患者がよりよい最期を迎えられるように家族らの支援の重要性についても明記され，救急領域における終末期ケアは、患者へのケアだけでなく家族も含めたケアとして近年注目されるようになった。それに伴い、時代背景や社会正義の変化から、患者家族の価値観も多様化し、終末期ケアの在り方も様々であることは感じることであろう。本セッションでは、BSC、DNAR、AD、ACPなど救急医療・看護において多様な看取りを経験した事例を紹介し、今一度救急看護における見取りを考える機会としたい。そして、そこから得た課題や展望をもとに救急看護における看取りの視座を得られたらと考える。
