診療録直結型糖尿病データベース（J-DREAMS）を用いた臨床研究

近年の様々な領域における大規模な医療情報の集積、すなわち、医療ビッグデータを元にした研究により、新たなエビデンスが見いだされ、報告されている。一方、医療情報学会においては、これまで、情報学の観点からの蓄積データの標準化、質向上のための検証、解析方法、また、症例登録支援等のいわゆる方法に関連した研究が多く、医療ビッグデータそのものを用いた本来の臨床研究の報告は少ない。そこで、本シンポジウムでは、我が国における医療ビッグデータを活用した臨床研究の推進をテーマとして、最前線の研究の事例紹介、ならびに、対象とした医療ビッグデータの特性や限界などを交えて今後の研究のあり方についての講演、討議を行う。
