老化の生化学：個体老化と細胞老化の最新知見

主催：日本生化学会JB編集委員会

生物の寿命を制御する機構の解析は、酵母や線虫を用いたモデル生物の研究から、マウスやマーモセットなどの哺乳動物を用いた研究へと大きく拡大している。特に細胞老化研究の発展によって、これまで知られていなかった個体老化の基礎機構や加齢性疾患の発症メカニズムの解析が進んでおり、ヒトで老化細胞を制御するSnolyticsが世界的に注目を集めている。本シンポジウムでは、個体老化研究と細胞老化研究の最新の知見を共有し議論することで、老化の生化学の理解を深化させることを目指す。
