Heterogeneous catalysts were prepared by co-immobilizing an alfa-diamine Ni(II) complex and a bis(imino)pyridine Fe(III) complex into a fluorotetrasilicic mica interlayer and used for ethylene slurry polymerization. Only unimodal melting peak for the prepared polyethylene was observed in DSC measurement, suggesting that two polyethylenes having different properties was uniformly mixed on a molecular revel. The preparation of the polyethylene blends having the different ratio was readily achieved by controlling the preparation conditions.
