From the viewpoint of CO2 recycling, we focused on the tandem reaction in which methanol synthesis from CO2 and hydrocarbon synthesis from methanol are performed in one step. Since the tandem reaction takes place at high temperatures, spinel oxides which are active at high temperatures and SSZ-13 were used as methanol synthesis and methanol conversion catalysts, respectively. In this study, the metal species of spinel oxide was changed, and the yield and distribution of hydrocarbons were studied.
