The process for synthesizing liquid fuels by sequential catalytic reaction of reverse water-gas shift (RWGS) reaction followed by Fischer-Tropsch synthesis (FTS) is expected as a promising technology. In this study, we developed perovskite-type oxide catalyst for RWGS reaction at low temperatures. Furthermore, transformations of surface intermediates were traced using FT-IR to investigate the surface adsorbed species on perovskite-type oxide catalysts.
