We developed the selective and coke-resistant Ga-exchanged zeolite for nonoxidative ethane dehydrogenation by controlling the formation of isolated Ga-hydrides. The effect of different zeolite frameworks on Ga-hydride formation and EDH catalysis was also investigated.
