黒鉛粉末と塩化モリブデンの混合物を熱処理後硫化処理することで、層間に硫化モリブデンを挿入した黒鉛層間化合物を調製した。電子顕微鏡観察により、黒鉛層間には数層の硫化モリブデンが挿入している状態が観測された。調製条件と得られる硫化モリブデン構造との関係について報告する。
