[1A01]Synthesis of edge-site rich N doped carbon electrocatalysts using zeolite template

Selective synthesis of the N at the edge sites is required to improve the activity of N-doped carbon for ORR. However, it has not been easy to control the active sites of N-doped carbon due to the high-temperature heat treatment required to synthesize N-doped carbon.In this study, we applied the zeolite template carbon synthesis method to develop N-doped carbon with a high specific surface area and many edge sites. Furthermore, the synthesized N-doped carbon was applied as a catalyst for ORR, and it was found to show very high performance.
