This study explores the impact of Conversational AI interventions on forming or changing extreme ideological perceptions regarding access to technology, democracy, and gender equality in post 2021 Afghanistan. Using a quantitative approach and AI-supported discussions, we examine shifts in perception among extremist, moderate, and mixed participant groups. While extremists show no significant change, moderates and mixed groups exhibit slight shifts opinion in positive way regarding engagement with CAI, indicating AI's potential to influence perceptions. The findings emphasize the importance of culturally sensitive AI tools for fostering constructive dialogue in diverse online communities.
