人間の脳は3歳までに80％、6歳までに90％、12歳までにほぼ100％完成すると言われている。そのため、就学以前に何らかの要因で理科に対する興味が生じれば、その後の理科嫌い防止に繋がる。高専生は中学時において成績優秀で、特に理工学に強い学生が多い。本研究では、全国の高専学生および教員に対して、0～6歳までの期間の育児や生活に関する様々なアンケート調査を行い一般に対するアンケート結果と比較した。
