JSAP Spring / Autumn Meeting

We prepared scientific experiment named “International Science Park in Sasebo-Kosen” for elementary school students who are from second to fifth grade at Sasebo naval base. The elementary school students in a naval base have few opportunities to receive a technical science experiment when they go to a primary school established at a base. On the other hand, Japanese students do not have many opportunities to make an English conversation with using technical term in a regular English class. We designed experience-based learning to cover a shortage for elementary school students in base and Japanese Kosen students. Fourteen themes of scientific experiment was prepared, and Kosen students chose an own interesting theme related to their major from each. The following indicates a part of title of scientific experiments.
