Surface configurations and dynamical friction coefficients of various metals were measured and evaluated by surface histogram and power spectral density (PSD). Surface histogram was fitted in a standard deviation. The standard deviations could be used as an index of surface roughness. PSD’s were fitted in a function of f -n type. A relationship between the friction efficient and the histogram and PDS would reported.
