The polymer powders can easily be charged during handling in industrial processes.. This study investigated the electrostatic discharges and charging level inside a metal silo during the loading of polypropylene powders. As the results, the bursh dischrges, which is one of the electrostatic discharge, appeared clearly inside silo. The charge-to-mass ratio of the loading PP powder was approximately -0.7 nC/g.
