Dynamic-surface-tension at around 10 to 100 micro seconds after jetting from nozzle of water-based ink (test liquid) which includes surfactants was measured by observing vibration periods of flying droplets induced by collision and coalesces when jetting started. Result showed that surface tension was changed in accordance with contents amount of the surfactants agreeing to conventional measurements. On the other hand, large and rapid decrease in surface age was appeared and then drop generation would be evaluated to compare which surface tension explain jetting phenomena accurately.
