Since the performance of insulating oil used in transformers deteriorates as oxidation progresses, it is necessary to carry out regular tests on insulating oil that has been used for a long period of time. In our laboratory, we have focused on the fact that the odor changes due to deterioration, and have conducted research to use the odor sensing system for this test. In this study, assuming the case where insulating oil leaked out, we measured samples in which unused mineral oil was oxidized by heating and the concentration was changed with ODO (medium chain fatty acid triglyceride) in an odorless solution.
