[I-23]Measurement of Temperature Distribution on Yamashiro Bridge

In order to understand the temperature distribution of the bridge under direct sunlight, this study selected a steel arch bridge for a day of surface temperature measurement of each component. Based on the observation of temperature change of the main arch at different positions, the results show that there is temperature difference between different component positions under direct sunlight and in shadow and the maximum temperature appeared at the web of hanger. In addition, there exists the size effect in the temperature distribution of the real size of the bridge, compared with small steel specimen.
