BWIM system is a typical linear inverse problem based on the addition of influence lines, there is an analytical solution. Yoshida et al. propose an interpretation of the method proposed by Moses from a probabilistic framework. In this study, we compared the accuracy of the axle weight estimation results by considering the autocorrelation of observation errors and modeling appropriately. In the study using the measured data, the axle weight was estimated to be about three times the true value without considering the autocorrelation, but good results were obtained regarding the estimation result and its accuracy by considering the correlation.
