In recent years, the aging of infrastructure, the frequent occurrence of disasters, and the declining birthrate have become serious issues in Japan, and therefore there is an urgent need to train people who will be responsible for maintaining and managing infrastructure. In this paper, we report the outline of the course developed and practiced by the authors for technical college students, the points that we devised and paid attention to convey to technical college students, and lessons learned through demonstration courses.
