With the aging and the shortage of the farmer population growing, Smart Farming is promoted, such as development of agricultural robots and autonomous driving technology etc. But farmland is not “smart” yet. In Aomori prefecture, the Guideline; Development of production infrastructure for promoting Smart Farming has established in 2022. In the Guideline, in addition to farmland consolidation of larger lots, additional maintenance for existing farmland is proposed. This paper reports demonstrated experiments how the additional maintenance of the farm road for turning improve work efficiencies.
