The significance of preliminary treatment for implant application in the periodontitis patient

　インプラントを長期的に維持するためには，インプラント周囲はいうまでもなく徹底した口腔内全体の衛生環境を良好な状態に維持することが求められる．なかでも細菌性プラークの蓄積は，歯肉への炎症の波及，歯周病の発症に関与していることは広く認識されているが，同様にインプラント周囲組織においても細菌性プラークの蓄積により，インプラント周囲の炎症の波及，またインプラント周囲骨の吸収を伴うインプラント周囲炎の形成に深く関与している報告が多く見られる．このような観点からインプラント治療に際しては，治療前に歯周組織への配慮として歯の喪失に至った歯周病の病態，残存歯の状態，インプラント治療に関連するリスクファクターの存在について精査するとともに治療を終了しておく必要がある．<br>　本企画講演では，「インプラント治療前に望まれる前処置とその意義」をテーマとして歯周病治療に造詣が深い３名の臨床家の先生，木村英隆先生（福岡市），東　克彰先生（熊本市），谷口宏太先生（鹿児島市）にご講演頂く予定である．講演は，インフェクションコントロールの観点からインプラント治療前に行うべき歯周病治療について，中等度から重度の歯周病患者に対する対応についてなどそれぞれの観点から症例を交えご講演いただいたのち，インプラント治療前の前処置について基本的な考え方をまとめたい．
