On the Clinical Trials Act

　従来から医学系研究に関する倫理セミナーでは，医学倫理審査委員会への倫理審査の申請方法を説明することで，学会誌への投稿ならびに学会発表を容易にすることに注力してまいりました．そして，平成30年4月1日より新たに臨床研究法が施行され，この臨床研究法に抵触する研究を実施にあたっては別途，認定臨床研究審査委員会の設置が求められるようになりました．しかしながら，この認定臨床研究審査委員会の設置のための要件が非常に厳しいものであることから，本学会で委員会の設置は不可能であることが既に決定済みです．このような状況から，臨床研究法に抵触する研究をも包含したすべての医学研究の倫理審査について，本学会として今後どのように倫理審査をおこなっていくのかを会員の先生方に理解していただけるよう，新たに施行された臨床研究法の概要と学会としての臨床研究法への対応等を解説していただく予定です．
