製造販売後調査の課題

医薬品の承認時の有効性・安全性の評価は治験等の限られた環境下で得られた情報を基にしているため、本邦では使用成績調査を中心とした製造販売後に実施する調査が法的に義務づけられており、医薬品リスク管理計画でも追加の安全監視活動として位置づけられている。一方、使用成績調査は「再審査・再評価」を目的とした日常診療下で実施される調査であるが、日常診療を超えたデータの収集や公表の手段が不適切等、本来の目的と乖離している調査も散見され、これに伴い使用成績調査の課題として同意や倫理審査の有無を論じた報告もある。しかし病院薬剤部門の使用成績調査への関与は相談窓口や契約手続きが中心との報告もあり、病院薬剤師の中でこれらの実務的な課題が十分共有されていない実態がある。本シンポジウムでは使用成績調査の制度・現状及び課題の共有等の講演を行い、その後、課題解決の為の薬剤部門及び病院薬剤師の関与について意見交換をしたい。
