ICH M12「薬物相互作用試験」ガイドラインの国内実装と医薬品審査の展望

新薬開発時の薬物相互作用評価において、臨床薬物相互作用試験データを補完するためのモデルアプローチの利用が拡大している。また、規制当局が公表する薬物相互作用ガイドラインに基づき、薬物の代謝過程に加え排泄過程における相互作用の評価が普及しており、代謝酵素とトランスポーターが複合的に関連して生じる相互作用が確認されるケースもある。こうした最近の薬物相互作用評価の動向を踏まえて、薬物相互作用に関するより良質なエビデンスを医療現場に提供し、新薬の適正な相互作用マネジメントを推進するために取り組むべき規制上の課題は少なくない。本セッションでは、開発から製造販売後まで医薬品ライフサイクルの様々な場面において、適正な相互作用マネジメント推進のためにレギュラトリーサイエンスが果たす役割について、産官学のステークホルダーで議論する機会としたい。
