若くしてがんの診断を受けるということ 全国がん患者団体連合会より

企画趣旨 　がん対策が進む中、思春期や若年成人の世代（Adolescent and Young Adult=AYA世代）に発症するがんは、治療開発および生活支援や心理的支援など様々な点において他の世代に比べて対策が遅れています。がんの治療については、この世代での発生率が低いためにデータの蓄積が難しく、他の世代のがんに比べて治療成績の改善率が劣るといわれています。また、この世代でがんを罹患した際に抱える生活上の問題は、就学、就労、恋愛、結婚、出産など、これまでのがん対策の中では十分に取り組まれてこなかったものが多く、支援するべき課題として認識されないことも多くみられます。さらに、この世代の特徴として、心理的な強さを持ちながらも、自らを表現する力が弱いために、支えようとする家族や医療者との関係形成がぎこちないものとなり、結果的に患者が孤独感に苦しむような状況も生じています。 　このようなAYA世代特有の問題に対し、医療従事者としてどのように支援を行うことができるでしょうか。がんと向き合っている若い人々の家族・社会との関係性に焦点を当てながら、本シンポジウムで明らかにしていきたいと考えます。 石田　裕二 利益相反1 〜 13：該当無し 安保　博文 利益相反1 ～ 13：該当無し
