統合失調症において抗精神病薬の長期治療中に形成されるドパミン過感受性精神病（DSP）は、治療抵抗性統合失調症の原因にもなると考えられている。このシンポジウムでは、カナダのモントリオール大学のSamaha Anne-Noel先生、英国のキングスカレッジのDavid Taylor先生、千葉大学社会精神保健教育研究センターの金原信久先生、千葉大学大学院医学研究院精神医学の新津富央先生をシンポジストとして、DSPの病態や予防法、治療法について基礎的並びに臨床的な視点から討議する。
