With the spread of mobile internet, mass consumption of entertainment and the development of digital internet technology, a new mode of short video called 'interactive video' has emerged. Interactive video is a fusion of short video + interactive action (interactive button: touch on mobile, click on PC) + storyline (plot tree). The purpose of this study is to analyze the development status of interactive video, to find out how to extract and verify functional categories for comparing traditional and interactive video by referring to the functions of Japanese and Chinese interactive video platforms, and to examine the interactive The purpose is to verify the advantages and future potential of interactive video as a means of communication.
