[1Ca02]Probing the electronic and geometrical structure of nanomaterials by polarization-dependent X-ray absorption in scanning transmission X-ray microscopy
*Peter Krueger1(1. Chiba University)
X-ray absorption near-edge structure (XANES) provides detailed information in the geometrical and electronic structure of active sites, complex matter and nanomaterials, especially when combined with transmission X-ray microscopy. Here we review our recent work on polarization dependent nanoscale XANES on boron nitride nanotubes as well as titanate nanostructures.
