Some examples of characterization of spintronic devices are presented: observation of the magnetic vortex core by magnetic force microscopy (MFM), observation of the current-induced domain wall motion by MFM, observation of the current-induced magnetic vortex core switching by MFM, observation of the current-induced dynamics of magnetic vortex core by time-resolved X-ray microscope, observation of the skyrmion Hall effect by Kerr microscopy, compositonal-gradient-induced Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya interaction investigated by scanning trasmission electron microscope, visualization of the three-dimensional shape of skyrmion strings by magnetic X-ray tomography.
