Mechanisms of dynein-based force generation at the cell cortex and spindle poles during metaphase

Cells must be divided as long as cells are proliferated. There are common and distinct mechanisms on cell division between various cell-types before and after differentiation. In this symposium, cutting-edge researchers, who are studying on “cell division” including chromosome segregation, spindle formation, proliferation of ES cells, etc, will talk their recent progress and discuss various mechanisms on cell division.
