Mitochondrial structural changes in response to nuclear DNA damage triggers cellular senescence

Longevity and maintaining good health while aging are some major desires of humankind. Elucidation of the molecular mechanisms of aging and cancer is key to achieve the goal. Numerous studies have been carried out from the molecular and cellular levels to whole-body level. In this symposium, we will share insights from research in various fields, such as biology, chemistry, and computational science, regarding "the abnormal shapes" observed in aging and cancer and treatments targeting the abnormality.<br>
