Chromosomes are organized in three-dimensional space to allow the proper expression and duplication of the genetic material. By introducing new insights from cutting-edge techniques such as genome-wide analyses, quantitative live-imaging and single-molecule analyses, this symposium aims to shed light on mechanisms controlling three-dimensional chromosome structure and gene regulation, and how these processes intersect.<br>
