[IL1]The future of neuroscience critical care is exciting

DaiWai Olson(Neurosurgery, University of Texas Southwestern, USA)
For nurses working in Neuroscience Critical Care, 2018 is both a very exciting and very challenging time. The past decade has seen advances in therapeutic options including new devices, new techniques, and new medications. Dr. Olson is a Professor of Neurology and Neurosurgery at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas Texas. During this session, he will provide insight towards the key role that nurses will play in developing and molding the future of neuroscience nursing. By examining the past and present for nursing as a science, this session will engage participants to more fully realize their individual potential and collective power to drive the science of caring for patients with neurological injury.
