Soil-water coupled analysis on an excavated large-scale slope composed of folded geological structure
Large-scale deformation occurred in a slope during excavation accompanied with rainfall in Rajamandala, Indonesia. To reveal the deformation behavior affected by groundwater, this study focuses on a simple soil-water coupled analysis based on a slope composed of mudstone with folded geological structure. Result shows that groundwater level in analysis corresponds to that of site nd concentration of shear strain appears at foot of slope, indicating that shear failure could occur in this area
