ドライアイスの準備を必要としない、ペルチェ素子を用いた普及型の高性能霧箱の開発を行った。従来のα線の観察に加えてβ線、γ線（からのδ線）の観察も行う事ができるため、それぞれの放射線と物質の相互作用の違いを直感的に理解できる。放射線教育上のツールとして極めて有用であり、その作製法からの解説を行う。
