ファインバブル発生装置を用いて抽出剤であるジエチルヘキシルリン酸(HDEHP)を硝酸中に微細油滴として分散させ安定なエマルションを作製した．このエマルションを用いてガラスに付着した酸化ネオジムの溶解を行った．
