Present natural convection air-cooled storage facility for vitrified HLW glass will be co-utilized for the storage of HLW granular form. Canister size and granular form storage density will be optimized by satisfying the thermal restrictions for the storage ficility. Hot press for the calcined simulated HLW solultion enables to produce high density granular form.
