The hardening behavior and microstructural changes in ferrite phase of thermally aged austenitic stainless steel welds were investigated. The results of atom probe tomography characterization suggested that spinodal decomposition and G-phase formation were accelerated in the aged and irradiated welds in comparison with only aged welds.
