As a detector used for spectrum measurement of thermal external neutrons (100 to 104 eV) using an accelerator BNCT, Eu: LiCAF of a thermal neutron scintillator and borated polyethylene. By using borated polyethylene as a moderator, a response with high sensitivity to epi-thermal neutrons was obtained.
