[3B03]Measurement of prompt fission neutrons using multi-nucleon transfer reaction

We have measured prompt-fission neutrons (PFN) in a multi-nucleon transfer fission with actinide targets and a ¹⁸O beam at the tandem accelerator facitity of JAEA. Compound nuclides were determined by identifying from the ejectiles with a silicon ΔE-E telescope, and fission fragments and neutrons were measured in coincidence. In the talk, the obtained result for the excitation-energy dependence of the number of PFN will be discussed.
