The latest version of Japanese Evaluated Nuclear Data Library, JENDL-5, was released in the end of 2021. We performed benchmark tests for the iron files with the iron experiments at QST/TIARA and JAEA/FNS. The results demonstrated that the JENDL-5 iron files improved JENDL-4.0 ones and were also equivalent to or better than the ENDF/B-VIII.0 and JEFF-3.3 ones.
