In recent years, heavy-ion-induced nuclear reactions have been actively studied for both basic and applied applications, such as cancer therapy, gene mutation induction, and drug discovery. However, unlike nucleon and light-ion induced reactions, no standard calculation method has been established, and various calculation codes use various models. Among them, antisymmetrized molecular dynamics is an excellent model that includes mean-field effects and two-nucleon collision effects in addition to the properties of Fermi particle many-body systems. In this study, we will investigate how different mean-field models can make a difference in predicting particle production using the 12C+16O reaction in heavy-ion radiotherapy as an example.
