We are developing a sealed lithium target for an accelerator-based neutron source for BNCT at Nagoya University. LIBS system was constructed for the purpose of elemental analysis in the target. In this study, the usefulness of LIBS was evaluated by comparing with the results of elemental analysis by GDOES.
