NIFS will evolve into an academic research institute symbolized by the theme of “well-posed and well-defined problems” representing fusion science. From April 2023, NIFS has investigated academic issues in science and engineering in an interdisciplinary manner through eleven Units (groups). In this session, scientific topics are presented by the new UNIT relating to fusion engineering and will be discussed.
