In recent years, there has been a demand for a method for easily visualizing radiation in radiation cancer treatment. In our laboratory, we have developed a gel dose meter consisting of PVA and KI. In this study, we constructed an in situ measurement system that measures light absorption at the same time as γ ray irradiation, and attempted to clarify the effect of γ ray irradiation on PVA-KI gel.
